Santa Fe New Music and SITE Santa Fe joined the Santa Fe Opera in presenting
the final event of the 2004 Intermezzo series of opera conversations.
Pascal Dusapin, one of France's noteworthy contemporary composers, whose
style has been described as blending the influences of Varèse and
Xenakis, joined us for concert and conversation. SFNM's John Kennedy conducted
the ensemble in performing Mr. Dusapin's works and later conducted a Q&A
session with the composer.
Mr. Dusapin's appearance in Santa Fe was co-sponsored by SITE Santa
Fe.
